🔥 HOW KAMBO IS APPLIED
Kambo is applied safely through small superficial blister points on the skin, known as “gates.” These tiny burns remove only the outermost layer of the epidermis, creating an entry point for the secretion to be absorbed into the lymphatic system.

For an introductory session, typically 3–5 gates are opened.

Before the medicine is applied, you’ll drink about ½ liter of water to support the purge process and facilitate energetic clearing.

Once placed, Kambo’s effects begin quickly—often within 30–60 seconds—and typically last 20–25 minutes.

🌡️ WHAT TO EXPECT DURING A SESSION
As the medicine enters your system, you may feel a warm, flushing sensation that spreads through the body. This is often followed by a temporary increase in heart rate and a gentle pressure or throbbing sensation in the head.

Common experiences during the session include:

• Tingling or numbness in the lips, ears, or tongue
• Light-headedness or dizziness (usually 5–7 minutes)
• Flu-like sensations: mild body aches, weakness, or nausea (10–15 minutes)

💧 ABOUT THE PURGE
Purging is a natural part of Kambo’s pharmacological effect—but it’s not required to receive its full benefits. For some, this may involve vomiting, sweating, or emotional release; for others, it may be more subtle.

Unlike dramatized portrayals, most purges—if they happen—are smooth, supported by the water consumed beforehand, and easeful within the sacred container of the ceremony.

As the intensity passes, the body shifts into a state of calm and clarity. You’ll rest for 30–45 minutes afterward, often feeling light, grounded, and renewed.
